Robert Allen MacDonald has broken his leg. His spirits plummet but his imagination takes flight leading to all kinds of exciting adventures.

Evelyn Moraff Davis was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia. She was a co-founder of Pierscape art festival and has always had a passion for poetry, music, knitting and handicrafts. Evelyn was an active volunteer with the Whitney Pier Historical Society and served as a member of the Sydney School Board. Owner of Moraff’s Yarns and Crafts, she was inducted into the Cape Breton Business Hall of Fame in 2002. Evelyn’s memories of the Jewish community and life in Whitney Pier are told in In the Blood: Cape Breton Conversations on Culture (2010). Evelyn and her husband Harold moved to Toronto in 2013.

Diane Lucas is an artist and illustrator with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Victoria. She has illustrated numerous book covers and picture books for both publishers and self-publishing authors. Diane lives in Nova Scotia, Canada with her husband and two daughters.
